OPEN BLIND EYES JESUS!
Mark 8: 24 – 26
Without a doubt, this Scripture depicts what is happening in the Body of Christ. I believe that the enemy has blinded the eyes of a majority of the Christians today, and we pray that the Youth that are teachable and submissive will begin to rise.
The place or level that you are in God can affect your sight! The people around you can affect your sight – those with whom you surround yourself are critically connected to how you see! It is not about your physical sight, but the state of the mind.
For you to see, sometimes God has to remove you out of town – out of your geographical location. God wants to do some stuff in your life, but you have surrounded yourself with religious folks – so blind they can’t see beyond the box! That is why Jesus had problems with them in those days!
Religious folks focus on ceremonial laws and rituals – the physical – and they cannot see beyond that! If you realize,Jesus had to lay hands on the man more than once. One touch could not heal his sight and furthermore, he had to be led out of the town. The longer you are among blind folks, the more blind you become! So the process of healing takes longer.
What God wants to is not normal theology, but some unorthodox methods that will challenge the religious mindset. Many Christians have mist over their eyes so they are not seeing things right. The man said he saw men walking as trees. But, trees are stationary – men can walk! So Jesus had to lay hands on Him again – in other words, Jesus had to help him to renew his mind! You need to see men clearly and to discern them. If you see trees walking, then you need another touch from Jesus, because it means you are seeing something God did not ordain and something that is functioning against His principles.
When the Lord has laid His hands on you, don’t go back to the old town. In other words, you may need to leave your ‘circle/group’. Don’t go back to Bethsaida – a place that was already spoken against/cursed by Jesus Himself. (Matthew 11: 21)
Many are looking for change/looking for a miracle; but before that, God has to move you away from some people, move you away from some places, change your mind, heal your blindness and you are then charged with the responsibility of not going back to that accursed place!
